NICK TAMMARO:
Leg D- Belmont Park Race 7
#7 Veritable is my first single in the sequence. This guy is fresh off a very strong effort at Belmont Park against this class level where he closed late to finish second beaten a half length. He encountered significant trouble that day and was still narrowly beaten. He's now making his 3rd start off a layoff and trainer Bobby Frankel has worked him three times since that 5/22 effort. Look for him to be rolling in the late stages.
Leg F- Philadelphia Park Race 10
#4 Aunt Dot Dot- This Scott Lake trainee is making her third start off a layoff and is dropping in class significantly. It is a bit disconcerting that she's in for a 16k tag, especially since she was taken by Lake over sixteen months ago for 50k and has not won in the interim. She has, however, been running against much tougher company and that is enough of a factor to calm the fear that she's forgotten how to win. Kendrick Carmouche is aboard and this is really the most logical spot she's been in since a N3X optional claimer over this course last August where she finished fourth.

TRAVIS STONE:
Leg B Monmouth Race 7
#7 Optimistic made a middle move into contention nearing the stretch against straight allowance company and weakened late last time. His first turf start prior saw him run a game second despite being stuck mid-pack off a very slow pace. Both efforts would be good enough to win in this spot today (and note both were his only two turf starts) as many are proven mid-priced claimers, while he has been competitive against tougher.
Leg C Delaware Race 8
#11 Make Them Break is third off the layoff in what I feel is the toughest race in the sequence to fully decipher. After he broke his maiden he was put in a hopeless speed duel in graded company. He came back to the races with a forgiveable first try on dirt and moved up nicely on the grass most recently. He's positioned to the run the best race of his career and we'll pay to find out where it lands him. #12 Sound Check is included only because of his pace presence and a potential wire-to-wire job on this paceless group; he's a last out winner, always a fun angle.
Leg A: 5-6-9-10
Leg B: 7
Leg C: 11-12
Leg D: 2-7
Leg E: 8-9
Leg F: 5-10
TOTAL: $128
PAT CUMMINGS:
Leg C Delaware Race 8
#5 Dugan is my first single of the wager and earns that billing almost by default. The rest of the field is chock-full of question marks that I began looking for any indicator of intent or progress. Storied turf trainer Jonathan Sheppard seems to have realized this colt is best on the lawn, and used the five furlong sprint on May 25th to get him geared up for a return to the stretch out. He broke his maiden towards the end of the Delaware meeting going this distance last year and the recent work is at least encouraging versus some others in here. The field as a whole is uninspiring and I can see as many as six winning it, but a stand must be taken and this seemed logical in a tough sequence at a decent price. Dugan sits on the morning line at 6-1.
Leg E Monmouth Race 8
While #9 Evenings End could bounce after back-to-back races just behind a set of sub-1:10 six furlong races at Monmouth, this is the all-important third race off the layoff. Dropping back in against state-breds could help this colt get the job done. My concern is singling a trainer who is 0-for-2008. Its a gamble Im willing to make.
The bet
Leg A - Belmont Race 6: # 6,8,9
Leg B - Monmouth Race 7: # 5,7,9
Leg C - Delaware Race 8: # 5
Leg D - Belmont Race 7: # 1,7
Leg E - Monmouth Race 8: # 9
Leg F - Philadelphia Race 10: # 2,4,9
Final thoughts
This wager has the ability to be incredibly enjoyable on a weekly basis. I hope players back it and we end up with a few carryovers to generate some excitement. Kudos to the Mid-Atlantic racing cooperative to get this up and running. Good luck!

Didn't hit it - but it was darn fun to watch em go. I think this will catch on, especially with a likely carryover after week one.
Those races come quick... BANG BANG... repeat 3 times.
I think that I will pass on this bet, as interesting as it sounds. If I haven't been able to hit a pick six in thirty years, I don't like the chances of my being able to do it in an hour.
