Racing has changed quite a bit in the last 20 years, in fact the product may have changed more than any other sport. Ten years ago If I wanted to make a bet in New York I had to go to a OTB or keep $400 in a NYRA account and had the choice of betting three tracks. Twenty five years ago we could only bet New York and selected big days from out of town. Today we have massive in home simulcasting, a choice of dozens of ADW's and a choice of dozens of tracks. In addition there are computer programs, speed figures, and all sorts of information available at my finger tips that racing fans never had before. Out of all the sports, racing may have benefited the most from technology, yet this guy missed it all.
