Monday's (9-1-08) 10-race Labor Day card from Del Mar features a competitive renewal of the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante (race 9), and #5 SAUCEY EVENING (5-1) is my horse of the day.

SAUCEY EVENING made her Colonial Downs turf sprint debut a winning one from off the pace, and she was hardly a well kept secret at 6-5.

Sunday's (8-31-08) 10-race Del Mar card features the Grade 2 Del Mar Derby (race 9) for three-year-olds traveling nine furlongs on the turf, and #4 MADEO (8-1) is my horse of the day.
